12 Unique Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board Ideas
We hosted our first Thanksgiving dinner for the first time ever last year!
It was definitely a learning experience, as we had never had a major holiday at our house before. We usually go to our grandparents’ or parents’ houses for those big celebrations.
One of the things I wish I had done differently was to make some appetizers. That way, people could snack while we were waiting for everyone to arrive.
A Thanksgiving charcuterie board would have been perfect! And there are so many cute ideas on Pinterest. Here are the best ones I’ve found:
Turkey Shaped
These turkey-shaped charcuterie boards are so cute!
Desserts
A little sweet treat wouldn’t hurt anyone before dinner! Plus, pumpkin rolls are my specialty and it’s the star on this Thanksgiving charcuterie board.
Mini Pumpkin
I love these little mini pumpkin charcuterie snacks! They would look so pretty stacked on a tiered tray.
Pumpkin Baked Brie
The center on this board is baked brie in the shape of a pumpkin and then surrounded by bread and apples to dip in that warm, melty goodness.
Cornucopia
Using a cornucopia is the perfect way to set up a Thanksgiving charcuterie board. It’s such an iconic symbol of the holiday!
Cheese Words
Apparently it’s pretty easy to cut letters out of sliced cheese (especially with cookie cutters). So, you can spell anything on a charcuterie board.
Charcuterie Wreath
If you’ve been around the blog long, then you know I love me a good wreath. So, why not make one out of the charcuterie supplies?
Pies
These sweet treat boards look incredible, especially this one with pies on it. Those mini pies are adorable!
Little Turkey
I love this Thanksgiving charcuterie board with the mini turkey made out of a wheel of brie. And I don’t know where the maple leaf cookies are from, but they go so well on these boards too!
Big Pumpkin
This is another pumpkin with individual servings, but this time it’s a BIG pumpkin with charcuterie skewers. It’s such a clever idea!
Pumpkin-Shaped
This pumpkin-shaped charcuterie board could be used for Thanksgiving, Halloween, or any party you’re throwing this fall!
I don’t know if we’re hosting at our house again this year, but if we do, I’m definitely making a Thanksgiving charcuterie board! (I’ll probably make one to take wherever we go if we’re not here.)
Guests will appreciate having a snack, since you know no one ate anything all day while the food for dinner was being prepared. And who doesn’t love meat and cheese or the non-traditional sweet versions?
I hope this post inspires you as much as it has me!
