Our youngest daughter is obsessed with Squishmallows. She has collected so many that they took over her bed.

She created what she called “Squishmallow Mountain”, which was a giant pile of Squishmallows that she would sleep beside every night. So, her dad and I decided to put up some shelves in her room to control the chaos. Using the same supplies as the DIY bookshelves in our living room, this little project was cheap and easy for us!

Open shelving can be arranged and customized to fit your space and style. This makes it a great option for cute displays.

Stacked Hammocks

Stuffed animal hammocks or nets have been around since I was a kid. And while Lyvi’s collection wouldn’t fit in one, they could fit in a ‘stack’ of hammocks. Plus, the little keychains look so cute clipped on the front!

Plant Stand

I’m sure the tall slatted shelf on the left is just that…decorative. However, I mostly see those types of shelves used as plant stands. But honestly, it looks just as good as a Squishmallow display!

Cube Shelf

Cube shelves are another great Squishmallow display idea. These types of shelves tend to be affordable, and the squishies fit inside the little cubbies perfectly.

The bottom picture has shelves from 5 Below. Typically, these shelves are pretty low quality, but since Squishmallows are pretty light, these shelves can hold them up without an issue.
