If you’ve been around the blog long, then you know I love a good bucket list! I make duty station bucket lists, deployment bucket lists, TDY bucket lists, and I made a summer bucket list this past summer.
These lists help us make the most out of our time, no matter what our circumstances are. Plus, it helps us explore our local area and make memories together as a family.
So, I couldn’t resist making a fall bucket list. I divided it into categories to make sure I get a good variety of things to do.

According to the internet, fall begins at the end of September and lasts until the beginning of December. Typically, the weather is cool, without being cold, and it feels good to be outside. So, take advantage of that and get outside with these fun activities!

Everything is better with friends and family! I always enjoy the fall holidays and spending time with my family. So, here are some fall bucket list ideas to enjoy with the ones you love!
- roast marshmallows & make s’mores
- have a soup night
- host Thanksgiving dinner (or an early Friendsgiving)
- throw a Halloween party
- have a pumpkin carving party
- spend the evening playing a murder mystery game

Fall Food
Another great part of fall is that it’s harvest time! The produce selection is always great during that time of year. Plus, there are just some flavors that are meant for autumn. Here are some foodie options to add to your fall bucket list!
- bake a pie (apple, pumpkin, or pecan are traditional fall flavors)
- drink some apple cider
- make a pot of soup

There are so many fun events that take place every fall. As a kid, I really looked forward to our county fair that came through town every October. And as an adult, I love college football games and Black Friday shopping with my mom. Here are some events you could add to your fall bucket list.
