New Year’s Resolutions: November/December Recap

I can’t believe that there is only two weeks left in 2019! That’s crazy-business!

I also can’t believe that I’m still regularly updating my New Year’s Resolutions progress….11 months later! That is most definitely a first for me and I’m super proud of it.

I decided to combine November’s recap with December, since the last 2 week of the year, we’ll be Florida and I definitely won’t be doing anything other than enjoying our visit.

Here’s what I accomplished of my New Year’s resolutions during November and {half of} December:

Decorate the Master Bedroom

We have lived in this house since July of 2017. That’s 28 months.

And until November of 2019, I STILL had not put up decorations in our master bedroom. Every other room of the house was decorated as soon as the boxes were unpacked.

I finally took the time and a little bit of money to get new bedding and hang some decor on the walls of our bedroom. And I’m so glad that I did!

Organize Family Photos

Despite this busy time of year, I was able to finally sit down and work on organizing our family pictures. I have completed 9 of 13 years, so far.

It is a time-consuming process. Our computer is old and could give out any day now. There are so many pictures on it that never made it to Facebook or anywhere else online. Having these pictures saved on SD cards and in our fireproof lock box will give me peace of mind.

Plus, having digitally-organized family pictures will really make me feel like I have my life together, ha!

November and December are always busy months because of the holidays. So, I am glad that I was able to make some progress on some of my resolutions through it all.

I’ll be publishing a total 2019 recap soon to see my progress throughout the whole year. I can’t wait to share it with you!
