Sending my husband 12 care packages while he was away was one of my biggest accomplishments from my deployment bucket list.
I tried to send him a box every month that he was gone (you can see all of them here). It was hard coming up with a theme for each package.
So, I thought it would be useful to put together a list of care packages ideas by month. Next time he’s gone and I have trouble thinking up ideas, I can just choose one based on the month or season that we’re in.

I tried my best to find a groundhog-themed care package, but the best I could do was a squirrel. However, a groundhog care package would be ideal for someone who didn’t want to send the traditional Valentine package in February.
