Trying to fill the lonely nights while your spouse is deployed? Can’t find anything to watch on tv? I’ve compiled a list of 20 tv shows to watch during deployment, TDYs, or whatever reason the military is keeping your spouse is away from home.
The best way to survive a deployment is to stay as busy as possible. However, down time is not only inevitable, it’s necessary. My deployment bucket list was full of things to keep me and the kids busy, but I knew I would need some R&R to get me through.
#30 on the list was to find a show to binge-watch on Netflix. For the sake of your sanity and well-being, get a horde of snacks, pile up on the couch, and binge-watch the hell out of some tv. Getting lost in someone else’s fictional drama is a relaxing way to spend those lonely nights.
Here are some of the shows I’ve binged over the past 9 years of my husband’s time in service.
